Dinner is served!
It's by Jessica Seinfeld. The idea behind the book is to hide veggie that your kids wouldn't normally eat. I really don't have that problem but I thought the book would be fun.
So, I find myself rolling the rice into a ball, then rolling it in a veggie puree/egg wash then into bread crumbs and then to the pan for a light frying. Frying you say, well I guess you have to start somewhere.
Anyway, Justin walked in as I was mixing the veggie and egg wash, I choose spinach tonight for this. You can only imagine what his comment was, "I'm NOT eating that". Okay that's fine that is your choice, I thought to my self, no need for an unnecessary argument, right. Well off to the shower he goes as I start to fry these rice balls. Into the kitchen he comes in a bit of a hurry to get out the door saying to Eli, "well I guess I will try one of these rice things and then dad has to go". Much to my surprise Justin turns to me and says "well I was wrong these are pretty good". I kindly said thank you as he inhaled another before dashing out the door.
Dinner was a SUCCESS!!!! It sure is nice to hear those words. Especially when it comes to my cooking.
So maybe I will do the Julie/Julia thing and blog all of the recipes I make from this book. I won't do one a day. It may take me several years, but I'll let you know how the next one turns out.
All though the sun didn't shine much today like it has recently, today is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it......
Grace and Peace!!

A Word
Romans 8:31-39
If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now read this again, but this time read is slow. Pay attention to the underlines and highlights. Tonight at BSF our lecture leader had us close our eye's and she read this to us. It's crazy how scripture changes when someone else reads it to you with your eyes closed.
I hope that this brings something new to you as it did for me tonight.
If you have questions about who this God is in your life lets talk......
God Bless, rest well in His comfort!!

The best snow ever
The storm of the century finally came to visit West Michigan. It seems that they are always talking about it coming but then it never does.
Funny thing, my mom moves to Colorado and they have no snow where she is, but here it's a different story! This picture below just cracks me up. This is something that would happen to me.
Watching Wilson out in the drifts was so much fun. The piles of snow outside are bigger then he is. He just bounces around like a gazelle. I had no clue this dog could move like that.
(all of these pics I found on wood TV 8....some GR and some not, the snowed IN car was Chicago, poor person)
