My goal this week is "meal planning". I made 3 trips to Meijer last week and well that's not very productive....so today I will come up with a list so that I don't have to go back a million times.

This site above seems to be my favorite right now.....it's healthy and delicious.

The first day of school

Getting ready for the big day started with a bath and a lot of anticipation, from me not Eli. We had eggs for breakfast, then made our way to the classroom. Eli jumped right in and in true Eli fashion went straight for the kitchen set. Past the slide and the horse, past the blocks and tools and right to the stove.
Look out Emeril there is a new chef in town!!!! One could only dream, right!!!

1 week and 1 day we are still trying to build a new routine. Day by day it gets better.

Boy do I love these guys.....even with their pale skin. It was nice to enjoy a whole day together last week during the snow.

We are "multi taskers" around here. Eli wont let me help him brush his teeth so I give him the brush and let him chew for a while in hopes that will do the trick. Sorry to all of the mom's I ever said bad things about for not brushing their teeth, my bad!!

Time for a rest, lets kick back the chair.

little drummer boyz

They beat to their own drum....literally. Our friends came over for dinner and the boys rapped the night up with some music for us. Josiah has drums at home to so they were making some great music for us....I bet you can hear the sweet sound right now as you are reading this......if not maybe next time they play I will video it and post that so you can share in the joy of two young boy's on the drums.

If you can't wait for the release of their album, I may be able to send you a demo. It's something special!! I guarantee that!!
We only had 1 "face meets drum stick" and no one was seriously injured.

Help!!!!!!

So I haven't done anything when it comes to my goals for the year. No running, NO yoga, not much reading.....I NEED ENERGY.....okay well Eli and I went for a "hike" at Blandford Nature Center with our friend Anna. I was was outside and spending time with my boy. A start I guess

This Friday I am going for a nice quite girls weekend. With two of my girly friends, we will be scrapbooking/sleeping/fellowshiping. We are staying at a hotel from Friday till Sunday. I can't wait. I think I will sleep most of the day on Saturday, and "catch"up on my sleep. Then I will be rejuvenated to start next week head on and get to work.
